The River Church of New Jersey – Mercy Ministry Mission Statement
The River Church Mercy Ministry is dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations and families in the Bergen County and Northern New Jersey regions. RCMM provides support in the form of monetary donations, physical and intellectual manpower as well as spiritual support. RCMM aims to build Christ – centered relationships with these people and organizations. With these different forms of support, it is our hope that God’s eternal love will shine through in our actions and donations. RCMM will have a focus on local organizations and families that are under funded and smaller in scale.
We hope to continue to support the organizations we’ve partnered with for years to come and we also are searching for new partnerships in 2008. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to help or have any specific ideas!

AWCA (Teaneck) – Asian Women’s Christian Association provides much needed behavioral health, social welfare and health awareness services
New City Kid’s Church (Jersey City) – leading children to Christ through the arts & learning
CUMAC (Patterson) - alleviates hunger and poverty in Passaic County region
Shelter Our Sisters (Hackensack) – providing emergency and safe housing to women & children who suffer from domestic violence
Interreligious Fellowship for Homeless (Bergen County) – assisting homeless, hungry and needy families and individuals in Bergen County
New Jersey United Christian Academy (Cream Ridge) – Christian High School with focus on teen leadership development
Love 146 (New Haven, CT) – works towards the abolition of child sex trafficking and exploitation
Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation (Tenafly) – creates awareness and funds research to fight pediatric cardiomyopathy
Cure Autism Now (NY, NY) – creates awareness and funds research to fight autism.
Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation (NY, NY) – dedicated to fighting Leukemia by finding matching marrow and stem cell donors
Various Disaster Relief Programs – Flooding in North Korea, Earthquakes in Peru
Personal Ministry Gifts – gifts to individuals and families in need
