I've been a bit on vacation mode lately so haven't had time to post in awhile.
so, this will be a bit of a "mixed bag" post of things.
*First...update on the Chapman family. I happened to see a news article on People magazine: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20202406,00.html
The funeral is this Saturday, May 24th for Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter who died tragically this week.

In this sermon Jim had us focus on the time Esther spent preparing to be queen--12 months to be exact. It was during this crucial time that she was developing character traits that would help her later on when the real drama happened and she would have to risk her life. There have been many times in my life when I've wondered what God was doing and whether there would be a purpose to it. It is interesting to see how the human psyche responds to the trauma of uncertainty.
(I wrote this last week, but I needed to revise so it's a bit "late"
